These slippers are easy to sew, and they are cozy and bright.
These slippers are sewn from a wool felt with a thickness of 5 mm. So that your slippers were durable and kept the form, it is better to choose a similar tight quality felt. If you want slippers do not slip, an additional layer can be sewed on the sole, for example, from dermatin, skin, and so on. The thread is better to take thick and durable (slippers are sewn by hand).
You will need:
- For each pair of slippers - felt 2 colors;
- Threads 2 colors in the tone of felt;
- big needle for manual sewing;
- thimble;
- scissors;
- Printer and paper to print the template;
- disappearing or washed marker.
STEP 1
Print the template.Select the size you want and cut the details of the paper patterns.
Step 2.
Put the details from the felt.
Fetra main color:
- 2 parts of the sole;
- 2 top items.
Felt contrasting color:
- 2 details of the sole.
Do not forget to transfer the labels of the wash marker.
Step 3.
Fold the parts of the slippers: the bottom is the part of the soles from the base material up, then the detail of the soles from the contrast material tags upwards, top view. Top detail.
Step 4.
Align the top labels and secure the details with one stitch, then knit the ends of the thread nodule.
Also connect the details on the left.
And on the right.
Add some more such fixes.
Repeat with the second slipper.
Step 5.
We start sewing slippers. To inhale the thread in the needle, make the knot and hide it between the felt layers, as shown in the photo above.
Before the start of the seam, make a leaf of 2-3 stitches in one place.
Start sewing the details of the neck forward needle, helping myself wrung. From the edge, retreat about 1 cm. When you reach the stitch fixes, cut and pull the threads.
At the end of the seam, make the leaf as at the beginning.
The thread of another color also position the lower part of the slipper, connecting the layers of the sole.
You can also perform one more seam forward needle, closing spaces.
Repeat for the second slipper. Ready.
