While I rejoiced my old sandals, I did not think about the idea of the master class. I made photos for friends and for ourselves :), and when she finished, I realized that I wanted to share the idea if she would be useful, I would be very glad.
So ... there were extremely unsuccessful sandals, with a leather insole, but honest skin "young dermantine" from above :) Yes, and also a plastic ring, which gave and twisted constantly. The photo was not preserved, but believe me, it looked not presentable. They were bought from hopelessness, but the provisions did not save, and were abandoned for long 8 years to the far corner. Yesterday they were accidentally found in the deposits and fell under a thoughtful mood :) Locking leatherette loops (visible in the photo), were originally twisted into the nodes, and the ring was held on them. I must say, they are also pretty pressed on the skin and left traces.
The ring was eaten without regret with nipples, the loops are spinning and the sandals acquired this kind:
Then I decided to make a completely leather lining so that the leg was comfortable and began to make the pattern. The pattern did from the paper first, cutting it in a millimeter and infinitely applying to the sandwalk. As a result, the lining turned out this:
The skin was used by a thickness of about a millimeter of one and a half. Powered by CG, the thickness in the invoice was not indicated, but it is exactly the skin of 0.5-0.7 mm, which is used for floristics. Brown skin, not suitable in color, so acrylic painting of the company OLKI "Bronze Antique" went into move. I think you can eat any paint, such a color is in the range.
It put to the sandals on the glue "Moment Classic Waterproof". It turns out, as it should linted the leather edge, under the initial jumper from the leak seminer. It turned out the edge to the edge. I will say right away: if the model of the sandstop is about the same, then it is necessary to trim the edges of the looping, in this case it is black lacquers, since then they will be written from the inside. I had to trim the skin from the inside and crop these loops. However, everything turned out :)
Subject to almost complete decoration of the upper part, I wanted to stick with small pieces of the skin and leave it, but I realized that the skin was very soft and the photo shows that it subporates, so they were cut on the same pattern of the detail from the other skin, processed by PVA glue, as For leather floristics, in proportion 1: 2 is approximately, that is, 1 part of the glue and 2 water, or 1: 1 - it depends on the skin. I use PVA-M glue, Lacra. The firm may be any, but glue is best of all PVA-M. In no case do not use for impregnation of the skin D2 or D3. As far as I understand, it is used for joinery, and you can get a completely "oak" effect. When using PVA-M, the skin will become slightly tougher. Try on a small piece and let dry. Since we have, to the leg, the skin is soft, the top layer will not rub. The skin pasted on the same "moment the classic waterproof", and without waiting for complete drying. While the skin is wet, it can be pulled out and lined on the first layer. Next covered the same paint "antique bronze". I was not too frozen on the perfect appearance of the foundation, as I already knew that I would completely decorate with flowers. If you choose another method, for example, beads, then the upper and lower layer of the skin must be completely coincided. It can be achieved that the upper surface is smooth, without protruding elements, but they can be seeded by beads (if they are).
The basis is ready!
If you do not own the techniques of flowers out of the skin, you can decorate these sandals by any beads, sequins, anything, I would advise you to sew them, the skin was quite decently skewed even with a sewing needle, with a thimble.
Of course, I can not tell in this master class, how to make flowers from the skin, and his topic is different. I just want to say that leather floristry has the need for skill, but I learned almost myself in a couple of months and only then hit the full-time master class. These flowers are copyrighted, and I learned them to do myself, at home, digging on the Internet :) You can always find free master classes that will help start. Try, and everything will turn out. It is easier than it seems at first glance :) Alternatively, you can be based on the basis of multicolored pieces of skin, like a mosaic, buying them in trimming in the store, per kilogram. They will cost cheap, and if you are lucky, and you will get the right color pieces, it can also work fine. Only here it will be necessary for the skin of a fantasy 0.5-0.7 mm.
Made blanks for decorating, flowers and leaves. Flowers are planted not as usual on Litons, but on a thin line. It is practically like a thread and was bought in a sewing store in the form of a coil. I planted on the thread of 4 additions, for reliability. The middle of the natural pearl - extracted from old beads :)
To the base, I sewed them through, and only then fixed with glue "Moment Classic Waterproof" and "Moment Profi Secreunch". That is, first the needle with a flower goes from above to the bottom, there is a stitch of half astimeter, as a result, the thread with the needle is upstairs, and it has been done in the hole in which the bead has been trained. Then I started a thread under the flower and wrapped several times, as when the buttons are sewn on the leg. Next applied to the skin and dripped glue "Profi Security". After that, the excess fishing line and lined the flower to the skin on the "moment of the classic". It is not possible to tear them off now, no matter how old :) Listers are just twisted on glue. I decided that we would lose them if that, it would be less critical than the flowers :) who has a desire, you can also grab one stitch, for reliability.

And finally, acrylic paints and tassels went to move. Toned leaves, flowers. It turned out to be the most comfortable sandals, in my, not simple, leg, not driving, because inside the suede is soft, non-jamming, since the upper jumper has been adjusted in the height of my lift. If someone is my first experience to decorate the shoes will give at least some kind of benefit, I will be glad, because herself always looks through the master classes from the masters here.
