Sun loungers can be bought, and you can do from free pallets :) Simple design, simple assembly, material processed - three in one! All that will need is pallets, 3 for one chairs, two are the same and one is slightly wider (for the back).
Step 1: We make the back of the sun lounger
We take two pallets and put them on each other, it is not necessary to mount. Make sure the remaining pallet is wide enough, wider than two pallets, because it will be a back. Ideally, if its width is ~ 10 cm more than the width of the lower pallet, in this case it does not have to shorten.
Now we will analyze this pallet back. We need to get rid of all the lower boards and from the boards that come in front and behind the pallet. We do it carefully, all waste can be needed in the future. Also remove half the upper boards.
The arrow in the photo shows the place where the upper boards are attached to the intermediate beam of the pallet (it is under them), we save this beam, but cutting it so that it does not trim from under the layer of boards.
Step 2: We put a back on your feet
It is time to put our back to your feet. In the photo, the arrow shows on the line, which I spread the pencil to designate the place and the angle of fastening the legs. We make legs from the remains that have come in the last stage.
Step 3: Bill back and sidew
It's time to braid instead of all the elements. At first, I, honestly, did not want to hardly mount the back, but it turned out to be too shaky and I had to put it on the shurps. Places where I fucked screws are marked in photo arrows. I attached the back only to the bottom pallet of the seat and only one screw, so the tilt of the back can be changed freely.
Step 4: Case time, fun hour
We painted lounge chairs in red and white colors, it turned out pretty, but not very soft, so the wife decided to put on top of the pillows, made by manually.
The construction of a lounger is just the case when after a working day you can deservedly reward yourself with rest, and most importantly, now there is where to do it!
