I planned to make a cutting board.
That's what I did.
For the manufacture of the board, the following materials needed:
- furniture shield with a thickness of 28 mm,
- furniture shield with a thickness of 40 mm (residues),
- plywood 20 mm,
- 4 ball guides 300 mm,
- Metal tray 27x38 cm.
Of the 40 mm shield made the base of the cutting board.
Sklexed processed parts of the base.
At an angle of 15 ° saws the edge of the base.
The milling board with the back of the cutting board made a place under the base and the extended tray.
Of 20-mm plywood stated the base under the tray.
The flanser removed the extensive plywood at the base of the tray.
Made notches for guide trays,
... and notches for guide storage space for knives.
From 20-mm plywood cut the place to store the knives.
The mill made a groove for knives.
After completing the work, I got a cutting board with dimensions of 400x680 mm, which I was treated with wax with mineral oil in 2 layers.
