The purpose of this master class is to show that anyone in the presence of a sufficient amount of time and the zeal will be able to repeat my experience and create your own hands a beautiful thing that will become a decent decoration of any interior.

Stained-in painting is such an occupation, which in essence does not require any specific knowledge and skills. It is only necessary to know and comply with several basic rules, which will be discussed a little later.

So, in order to start work, prepare tools and materials, as well as a workplace:

- First of all, we need a table itself, or rather the billet, which will become a unique table, made according to your own sketch (if desired). I used a coffee table with a glass countertop. Tabletop diameter - 50 centimeters. The height of the table itself is 62 centimeters. The table is bought in the IKEA store;

- Acrylic contour. Bronze or brass color;

- Stained glass paints on an organic basis. The more color, the more interesting the final drawing will be obtained;

- cotton swabs;

- Dry napkins;

- alcohol for degreasing glass;

- Figure (sketch), corresponding to the size of a glass countertop. The size of the table top in this case is 50 centimeters in diameter. The size is rather big, so immediately need to decide, on which surface all work with the contour and paints will be held. Need a large and comfortable table;

- Scotch.

Let's start with the preparation of the workplace. Be sure to lay a tablecloth on the table or something to protect the table surface from damage and paint. Now Fresh stencil with a pre-drawn pattern on the table top. I used bilateral scotch for this. I only made half the image, as the drawing is symmetrical.

Figure, that is, the lines, I began to circle from the center, systemally moving towards the edges. Davit on the tube evenly so that the lines are obtained by volume and the same thickness. It is important to remove the paint surplus so that the lines are neat and not smeared.

Since my stencil was only for one half, then I rejected this stencil and attached a circle to the other side.

We continue to circle the lines until the entire countertop is covered with drawing lines. Work slowly so as not to erase already drawn lines. I worked standing - so more convenient.

Now an important point - you need to give the contour well dry. Here you can use the hairdryer if you are very in a hurry, start painting. I did not rush anywhere and left the table top for a day in a horizontal position, so that the contour is trying finally and irrevocably.

To make it easier and clearer to work with paints, it is better under the table top to lay a sheet of white paper.

We start from the center. Since I have a caustion outline, I calmly put my hand on the table top to reach the center, and I'm not afraid to damage the contour. I chose a beautiful purple color, similar to a shade of lavender. Fill paint the central part of the pattern.

Stained glass paints

Next to the same color, paint the second and third row of petals, alternating painted and empty places. To distribute paint on glass, I use a wooden stick. You can use and brush, but when working with large areas it is easier to work with a wand.

We continue to work with purple paint, painting the next rows of petals in the picture until you reach the edge of the table top.

I recommend always starting from one color. We choose one main color and paint all the desired sites. Next, choose the second color and act in the same way, then the third color and so on, until all areas are painted.

With purple color, warm shades of yellow and orange are perfectly combined. I took them to continue my work.

Add some brightness with red paint.

Stained glass paints have a distinctive feature: have transparency with full color preservation. These are attractive for lovers and connoisseurs of creativity.

Now you can add fresh green. Space from semicircles I poured paint, alternating orange and yellow colors.

Details, which are located closer to the edge of the table top, are scoring light green paint.

Immediately need to tune in to the fact that this process is not fast, since the size of the table is significant.

And complete the drawing, pouring the remaining sections with purple and orange paints.

Now you certainly need to leave the table top for another day in a horizontal position and wait until the paints are dry. Only after the complete drying of the paints, the tabletop can be installed on the metal base and enjoy the result in all its glory.
